SaigonHotspot – Crown restaurant

08 Apr

It’s Friday, and let’s see what do we have for this weekend.

Sorry for this tiny image, I can’t find better logo of the restaurant. Anyway, not as its logo, the restaurant is pretty big with 200 seats, cars park and private rooms for groups but reservations are recommended.

Viet meals – Viet souls

Although there are billions of places that you can find Vietnamese food (of course, this is Vietnam) but how about a really nice place with proper Vietnamese food, the real ones, not mixed with Western style and Vietnamese Imperial palace ambiance? Take Crown.

The name Crown comes from the restaurant’s meals and live music, those are originally for the kings, queens and royal family members. There is no need to travel to Hue, the ancient capital to know the feeling of being king and queen. The restaurant is located right in the central of Saigon. The tasteful antique interior and the wooden glasses recall a former colonial Indochina, its calm and inviting atmosphere contrasting pleasantly with hectic Saigon

Prices are quiet reasonable, a couple of dollars per meals and live Nhã nhạc (music for the royal family). At weekends, Vietnamese performers will be there to entertain you with songs and poems from such famous artists as Trinh Cong Son and Pham Duy.

It’s nice, clean and pure Vietnamese foods. The Crown is in Saigon for you.
