SaigonNews – Days off

25 Apr

This weekend, April 30 and May 1, is celebrated as public holidays in Vietnam as Liberation Day or Reunification Day and World Labour Day. Of course, two days off! But it isn’t going to stop at that, because those are weekend break as well, therefore we’re going to have our holidays break in the next Monday and Tuesday. Four straight days!

But I’m not going to happy with that… Well, a little bit. But sure I won’t travel any where out of town. There is no way better to be stucked in the middle of a big traffic jam than join we Vietnamese in the race to traveling hot spots, such as Phan Thiet, Vung Tau, Da Lat, etc. And I haven’t talked to unreasonable prices of services and stuffs like that at those hot spots. No thanks, daily Saigon is already crowded enough for me.

In stead of traveling, I think I’d like to enjoy the deserted streets and less hurried life style. Hanging out with friends, take some city-sight-seeing trips or just feel the feeling of free time.
